It addresses the spatial and cultural requirements of private rooms—the only personal spaces in coliving models—by simulating 132,539 layout variations across six core room types. These layouts consider ergonomics, transition zones, standard furniture, and user diversity, offering a scalable and customizable toolkit for coliving designers, operators, and developers. Based on in-depth analysis of coliving structures in Europe, the project provides a strategic design infrastructure that balances privacy with shared living. Its future goal is to evolve into a digital tool that supports localized production, architectural decision-making, and adaptive housing solutions in global coliving markets.
