Located in the centre of Xalapa, Veracruz, Nico Hotel & Residences is an adaptive reuse of a 1960s house into a shared living model with 32 residential units, 2 commercial spaces, and 24 shared amenities. Designed by A-001 Taller de Arquitectura in collaboration with Jemmoma, the project reduces private unit size to prioritise high-quality communal areas. It preserves existing elements like terrazzo flooring and utilises a modular strategy to foster community and sustainable urban living.
