Announcing the Winners of Coliving Awards 2023

The 3rd edition of the Coliving Awards ceremony took place on September 22nd in Amsterdam, The Netherlands for the first time as part of the official programme of the inaugural Coliving Conference. With 70 submissions across 15 categories, we brought together industry professionals in Amsterdam to celebrate the innovation and achievements of the sector. 

This edition is close to our hearts, as we had the opportunity to introduce our network of coliving professionals to our headquartered city, and allow them to explore Amsterdam’s dynamic coliving scene. The Coliving Awards ceremony was also the perfect way to round off the conference with an evening of celebration. 

The Coliving Awards, a portfolio brand of Coliving Ventures, which has a mission of accelerating the future of shared living through thought leadership events. Following the successful launch of Coliving Ventures’ flagship global event, the Coliving Conference, in 2023, this year’s awards ceremony presented a natural opportunity to unite the two. By hosting the ceremony within the official conference programme, we created a space where celebration met collaboration - facilitating meaningful knowledge exchange, cross-industry dialogue, and the recognition of outstanding contributions that are shaping the next chapter of coliving worldwide.

By meticulously identifying and rewarding groundbreaking initiatives and forward-thinking pioneers in coliving, the awards provide crucial recognition, drive innovation, and set essential benchmarks for the sector, accelerating the professionalisation and growth of shared living worldwide.

In partnership with key organisations, we celebrate pioneers, highlight disruptive solutions, and showcase state-of-the-art concepts. By recognising these innovative contributions to the coliving sector, and highlighting projects across diverse typologies, we inspire future development and contribute to defining coliving as a disruptive, scalable, and thriving modern and community-driven living solution.

The ceremony was live streamed to our worldwide audience, with the winners of each category being announced by this year’s ceremony host, Aitana de Jong.‍

To celebrate this momentous edition, our main Media Partner, Coliving Insights, published a Special Edition to highlight the best coliving projects featured at the Coliving Awards 2023. This publication highlighted the most forward-thinking coliving projects and the innovators behind them, offering insights into the ideas shaping the future of the sector. By featuring the winners, finalists, honourable mentions, partners, and jury members, this edition provided a deeper understanding of what sets these projects apart and how they contribute to the continued growth of coliving.
