Coliving Awards 2023: Celebrating Innovation and Leadership in the Coliving Sector

Coliving Awards is thrilled to announce that submissions are now open for the highly anticipated Coliving Awards 2023 ceremony taking place in Amsterdam on the 22nd of September. Now in its third year, Coliving Awards aims to recognise the most pioneering and inspirational leaders in the coliving industry. The winners will be unveiled on the second day of the Coliving Conference 2023, the premier event for the global coliving community happening this year.

Why submit a project?

Since its inaugural edition, Coliving Awards has garnered interest and enthusiasm from around the world, shining a spotlight on shared living projects that redefine the boundaries of specialised residential real estate. This year, we are eager to continue honouring exceptional shared living innovations and acknowledge the best-in-class leaders in various categories.

Are you poised to become the next global leader in the shared living industry? Submit your project now and position yourself as a leading innovator within your category. The final round of applications is now open, with a submission fee of €199 per entry. Don't miss the deadline of 19th of July 12.00 PM CEST to submit your project. Still unsure about applying? Take a look at the inspiring winners from last year's edition to understand the profound impact this event can have on your project.

Were you a participant in Coliving Awards 2022? We invite you to reapply this year in the same category or explore our newly introduced categories. Coliving Awards 2022 encompassed a diverse range of themes, with a total of 17 categories celebrating groundbreaking coliving concepts and initiatives. To reflect recent industry developments, we have introduced two exciting new categories: 'Contech’ and 'Rural Coliving’.

Coliving Awards will be hosted at the Coliving Conference 2023 – a premier 2-day hybrid event in Amsterdam on 21-22 September. Join us at the Coliving Conference for networking activities, inspiration and a celebration of this year's sector achievements. It's a great opportunity for Coliving Awards participants and stakeholders alike to connect with like-minded industry professionals. The Awards ceremony will be integrated into the conference programme, but those interested in attending only the ceremony can do so. Both the Conference and ceremony will be streamed live online.

How does it work?

This year, we have streamlined and simplified the application process to ensure a seamless experience for all participants. To submit your project, simply access the applicant portal, where you can upload all the necessary materials.

Maintaining the utmost transparency and fairness, our voting system is built upon three voting power percentages. The lead judge in each category accounts for 35% of the vote, while industry stakeholders and the public audience contribute an equal share of 35% through voting on our social media pages. Finally, a jury panel's collective vote carries a weight of 30% to ensure a well-rounded and inclusive selection process.

As our esteemed media partner, Coliving Insights will release a special edition highlighting the winning coliving projects and practices of the 2023 edition. This exclusive edition will also showcase our partners, jury members, and other contributors.
