Submitted projects are evaluated in three phases: Eligibility (1), Evaluation by a Lead Judge (2) and Jury Panel & Public Voting (3).

Phase 1

In phase one, all applications will be reviewed by our internal team to make sure that all criteria are being met. During the eligibility phase our team will not judge or give a specific score to your application. We will simply make sure that the specific set of criteria are well represented in the deliverables from each applicant.

Phase 2

After our team reviews the applications for eligibility, our lead judge will evaluate all eligible presentations from their own category for phase two. According to the criteria checklist and required answers to respective questions, our lead judge will give a score for each application, which will result in the selection of maximum 4 finalists and 1 or more honourable mentions.

Phase 3

Further evaluation by the whole jury panel will also be based on the set criteria and respective questions, and our wider jury panel will be responsible for nominating the winners of each category, alongside the public vote and the previous scores from each jury member. The public vote will be conducted on Linkedin, giving the voice to our followers and wider community.

The final result is calculated as follows: the lead judge has 35% ruling, followed by 35% ruling from audience LinkedIn voting and 30% ruling from industry relevance stance by the jury panel. The winners will be announced and awarded during the Coliving Awards ceremony on 14th October 2026 in London, United Kingdom.

The date for the lead judges will complete the evaluation process will be August 17th 2026, after which Finalists and Honourable Mentions will be announced. If your project has been nominated, you will also receive an email with further instructions on how to promote your project for the public voting. First of all, congratulations! If you have not gotten yourself a ticket for the Coliving Awards ceremony yet, this might be the best moment to do so. More information will be available as the date comes near, but if you cannot wait any longer you can already purchase your ticket to attend the Coliving Conference - which grants you access to the official Coliving Awards Ceremony.

All nominated projects (“Finalists”) will be notified via email on the day of the public announcement through our newsletter and social media channels. We will also send brief guidelines on how to communicate your nomination as a Finalist, with a social media banner and some communication examples. You can use these materials to promote your nomination and to invite your audience to vote for your project during the Linkedin Public Voting phase from 25th August - 11th September 2026.
